Hi there, I am interested in and working for world peace and for environmental concerns. This site is about becoming active. As I am a graphic and fine artist, one of my ways of helping is to make statements visually, and so I’ve made and will continue to make designs for Ts and Mugs etc. which are available for sale, so that everyone interested in making a difference can make their concerns known – preferably in peaceful groups and marches. Check out other vendors too. The important thing is that now is time to become a majority–numbers count. We are not going to be able to save many of the animals, plants, insects, and ecosystems threatened, and we won’t be able to bring back what’s already extinct. One may think, this is too depressing. Yes, much is sad, however, there is so much to be positive and excited about. We can help, many wonderful and astounding stories of people making a difference exist, and I will include links to some of these. We must stop adding to the problem–reducing atmospheric carbon emissions, putting carbon back where it belongs, in the dirt. No more fracking. Preserve national parks. Return lands to their original state. Help clean up rivers. Remove lawns and grow meadows. And though extremely controversial, for those planning on having kids, limit the size of your family to no more than three: seeking to achieve zero population growth. Help make strong the movement toward 100% Green. There are many opportunities, and I believe this is where our economic future lies. Make this century be called The Environment Revolution. It’s time. There will be (actually already are) many changes that we must address and need to prepare for. Let’s embrace the changes and learn to work with it. This is going to be a very challenging time, and we are up for it. Look what we’ve been able to accomplish in the past. Imagine what we can do for and in our future. So despite a fair amount of pain associated with this site as well as with the changes in our lifestyle, it is for the good. Walk into a department store and ask, where does all the surplus go? For some it this site will be a wake up call. Please join me and thank you. World Peace? Absolutely. Earth and World Peace go together Learning to treat all people with dignity and respect will not only bring World Peace, is no different than learning to treat our earth with dignity and respect. This is not a site of sound bites as one may have already guessed. For millennials, I welcome you to express you thoughts beyond 140 characters. Your lives depend on this. It depends on stepping outside of yourself and working hard. Working for the good and watching it manifest, with the help of hundreds of others, make life worthwhile (worth while). Lastly, I am a Nichiren Buddhist, and, hence, my job is earth and world peace, I share a little about this beautiful practice, and I share a little about my fine art sort of career. These including the section on environmental issues are categorized and found in the right-hand column. With respect.
