{"product_id":"cat-trio-endangered-indoor-outdoor-stickers","title":"Cat Trio Endangered, Indoor\\Outdoor Stickers","description":"Recognizing the importance of Lions and Snow Leopards to their ecosystems, and the need to protect them, organizations in Africa and the Himalayan region of Asia began working with the people to create safe livestock enclosures. This has decreased retaliation killing of Snow Leopards. However, as these magnificent cats need a large territory to survive, habitat loss continues to be a problem for their survival.\n\nIn Africa, educating the locals about living amongst predators and informing them that hyenas and other predators are also responsible for livestock killings, not lions alone, helped lions. Ten percent of the remaining Lions are In and around Ruaha National Park. Creating a healthy relationship between carnivores and humans has been successful. \n\nAll of these cats are poached for their hides, which are sold on the black market along with body parts, considered by the Chinese to be medicinal or to have magical powers These beliefs are a huge threat to these important predators' livelihoods. Of course, Trophy Hunting must be stopped.\n\nThe Cheetah is an interesting case. Even though the Cheetah has four subspecies in Southeast Africa, Iran, Northeast Africa, and Northwest Africa, their genetic variability is unusually low. (Wikipedia \u0026amp; National Geographic). Low genetic variability is due to Chettahs having faced extinction twice, once in c.100,000 years and then in 12,000. As a result, the few animals that survived could only increase their population by inbreeding, reducing the size of the gene pool. Breeding these animals in captivity doesn’t work. Defects and high mortality rates mean that Cheetahs are becoming extinct Since I don’t want to see them go, I pray that someone will find frozen Cheetah DNA from 50,000 - 100,000 years ago. Perhaps it may be possible to use this to increase the Cheetah’s gene pool, thereby Cheetahs having healthy kittens once again. otherwise, this speedy cat, the fastest animal on our planet, reaching 75 mph (60 mph in 3 seconds), will be gone for good. \n\nIf you're looking for blank stickers to print \u0026amp; sell online or to customize your surroundings with - we've got you covered.
