Fine Art

I became a fine artist 30 years ago.  I worked in many mediums: watercolor and oils.  I loved etching, and as a result I found my favorite medium scratchboard.  That is my specialty.  Though I can draw and paint representational images, I am an abstract artist.  I often say, "I'm painting my brain," because the resulting images come from there.  My intention when painting is primarily focused on connections.  Connections in terms of our relationships with people, with life, and hence, disconnection and alienation play a role in my work as well.
