Photography

I was primarily a black and white photographer for roughly thirty years.  I have had may wonderful experiences as a result of seeing the world through the lense of a camera.  I have had the opportunity to travel with one of the best bands of yesteryear, Supertramp.  I photographed the London Underground (subway system-the tube) in the late 70s when the original extraordinarily beautiful wooden stations still existed.  Check out The London Underground:.....Written by David Long, Photographer, me. 

I primarily considered myself a street photographer, meaning I shot everywhere all the time.  I loved capturing the heart of a person whether I got it as a candid shot or done in a studio..  I always knew when I captured their essence.  I cannot explain it, but nearly everyone I know has told me that my photograph of them was their favorite ever taken.  That's a nice feeling.  Though you may not see many of these on my site, it's only because I only have so much time and space. to put all that I've done up.  I hope you enjoy seeing these.

The 118 Tongues and 1 Tongue and cheek is just fun and interesting. You can tell a lot about a person when you ask them to stick their tongue out.
