Though rare, Nuclear Power Plants have failed. Much is learned from these failures, and much has and is being done to prevent accidents from happening. I must have faith that Nuclear Power Plants will be as safe as they can be barring being struck by a meteor. This may be a false assumption, however, the sixth extinction that we are in now, the effects of global warming, is even more dangerous and must be stopped. Nuclear energy is necessary to make this happen.
