Lotus Windows Mirrors 18X12" Print

Lotus: Windows and Mirrors is a part of my Bits and Pieces Project.  The Lotus flower (upper left hand corner) is a  metaphor of cause and effect: it seeds and blooms at the same time.   It's pristine beauty signifys enlightenment having moved through the obstacles encountered on it's journey to the light.  I am a Nichiren Buddhist. When I began to heal from a difficult time, color came back into my work.  Green represents growth.  A beautiful representation being reborn by letting go.  Yes, there is always light at the end of a tunnel. Know that, and know that you don't need to suffer for long or even at all.  Learn your lessons so that you can help others to end their suffering.
